Privacy Policy

What information the site collects, how it is used and the choices you have.

Last updated September 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information IQMoneyPlanner (“we”, “us”, “the site”) collects when you visit iqmoneyplanner.com, how it is used and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it plain and accurate. If anything here is unclear, contact us at contact@iqmoneyplanner.com.

The short version

  • The calculators run in your browser. The numbers you enter into them are not sent to our server and are not stored by the site.
  • The site has no user accounts, and it does not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
  • If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive the details you type and use them to reply.
  • Our hosting provider records routine technical data (such as IP addresses) in server logs.

Information you enter into calculators

Calculator inputs, such as a home price, a salary or a loan balance, are processed by JavaScript on your own device to produce results. They are not submitted to us, and the site does not save them in cookies or in your browser’s storage. When you close or reload the page, they are gone. If you use your browser’s print function, the printout goes wherever you send it.

Information you send us

The contact form asks for your name, email address, a subject and a message. When you submit it, that information is sent to our server, which forwards it by email to contact@iqmoneyplanner.com. We use it to read and answer your message and to improve the site. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list. We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections and requests, then delete them when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your message by contacting us.

Please do not put sensitive information, such as account numbers, government ID numbers or health information, in the form or in an email to us.

The contact form includes anti-spam measures: a hidden field that people do not see, a timer that measures how long the form was open, and a limit on how many messages can be sent from one connection in a short period. For that limit, the server briefly keeps a one-way hashed form of the connection address, which expires within an hour. These measures are used only to identify automated submissions and are not used to identify you.

Server logs and hosting

The site is hosted by a third-party web hosting provider. Like most web servers, the host automatically records technical information about each request, which usually includes your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the browser and device type (user agent), the referring page and the response status. This information is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service. Retention is controlled by the hosting provider under its own policies.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself does not set cookies. It does not load third-party fonts, scripts or trackers: fonts and code are served from the same domain. If this changes, for example if analytics or advertising is added, this policy will be updated first, and where the law requires it, the site will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

Advertising

As of the date above, the site does not display advertising. The operator may add advertising in the future, such as ads served by Google AdSense. If that happens, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to the site and other sites on the internet; see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services for details. You would be able to manage personalized advertising through Google’s Ads Settings and through the industry opt-out tool at aboutads.info, and, where required, through a consent choice on the site. This policy will be updated to describe any advertising in detail before it begins. See also the Advertising Disclosure.

Links to other sites

Pages may link to government agencies and other outside websites as sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

How we use and share information

We use the information described above to operate the site, respond to messages, keep the site secure, prevent abuse and improve the calculators and their explanations. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site (for example the web host and email provider), when the law requires it, or to protect the site and its users from fraud, abuse or security threats. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, or to object to certain uses. Because we collect very little information, this mostly concerns messages you have sent us. To make a request, email contact@iqmoneyplanner.com from the address you used. We may need to confirm that a request comes from you before acting on it. Residents of some U.S. states and of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland have additional legal rights, and we will honor valid requests under the laws that apply to us.

Children’s privacy

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and it has no accounts or stored user data to protect. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we advise you not to send sensitive information through the site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the site adds a feature or when laws change. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be described on this page.
