Terms of Use

The rules for using the site and its calculators.

Last updated September 20, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of iqmoneyplanner.com (“the site”), including its calculators and written content. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Informational purposes only

The site provides general information and calculation tools. Nothing on the site is financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal or other professional advice, and nothing creates an advisory or other professional relationship. Please read the Financial Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

2. Use of the calculators

The calculators produce estimates from the numbers you enter and from assumptions described on each page. Results may be inaccurate for your circumstances, and reference data such as tax rules and rates may be out of date. You are responsible for checking results and for any decision you make using them. Confirm important figures with a lender, employer, tax authority or qualified professional before you act.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. In particular, you agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the site or its servers; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or related systems; use automated means to submit the contact form or overload the site; copy the site’s content in bulk in a way that harms its operation; or use the site in violation of any applicable law. Reasonable personal and educational use, including linking to pages, is welcome.

4. Intellectual property

The site’s text, design, code, logo and other content are owned by the site’s operator or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the site and print or share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep attribution and do not alter the content. You may not reproduce, republish, sell or create derivative works from the site’s content or code without permission. The IQMoneyPlanner name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement without permission. Names of government agencies and organizations cited on the site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify sources.

5. Third-party links and sources

The site links to outside websites, including government sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

6. Contact form and communications

If you send a message through the contact form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to send it. We may use your message and contact details to reply and to improve the site, as described in the Privacy Policy. We are not obliged to respond to every message.

7. No warranties

The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any calculation is correct or suitable for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of the site and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, profits, data or opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or from your reliance on any result or content, even if we have been told that such loss is possible. Where the law does not allow an exclusion or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to the site and to these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we may update these Terms. The “last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the site’s operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@iqmoneyplanner.com or through the contact page.
